This is the photo of Facebook.

Deleting your Facebook account is a serious decision that should not be taken lightly. It involves permanently deleting all of your Facebook content, including your profile, photos, posts, and other personal information. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to use Facebook or access any of the content you have shared on the platform.

8 Steps To Delete Your Facebook Account:

However, if you have made the decision to delete your Facebook account, here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account

To delete your account, you must first log in to your Facebook account using your email address and password.

Step 2: Go to the Settings menu

Once you are logged in, click on the small downward facing arrow in the top right corner of your Facebook page. This will open a drop-down menu, from which you should select “Settings”.

Step 3: Click on the “Your Facebook Information” option

On the left side of the Settings page, you will see a list of options. Scroll down until you find the option titled “Your Facebook Information” and click on it.

Step 4: Select the “Deactivation and Deletion” option

Once you are on the “Your Facebook Information” page, you will see a list of options on the right side of the screen. Scroll down until you find the option titled “Deactivation and Deletion” and click on it.

Step 5: Choose the “Permanently Delete Account” option

On the “Deactivation and Deletion” page, you will see two options: “Deactivate Account” and “Permanently Delete Account”. To delete your account permanently, you must choose the second option.

Step 6: Enter your password and click “Continue”

Before you can delete your account, Facebook will ask you to enter your password to confirm that you are the owner of the account. Once you have entered your password, click on the “Continue” button.

Step 7: Confirm that you want to delete your account

Facebook will ask you to confirm that you want to delete your account. To do this, you must click on the “Delete Account” button.

Step 8: Wait for Facebook to delete your account

It can take up to 90 days for Facebook to delete your account and all of the content associated with it. During this time, you will not be able to log in to your account or access any of your content.

Important:

It is important to note that once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. This means that you will lose access to all of the photos, posts, and other content you have shared on Facebook. You will also lose access to any groups or pages you have created or joined.

Furthermore, deleting your Facebook account will also delete any information that has been shared with third-party apps or websites through Facebook Login. This includes any information that you have shared with these apps or websites, such as your name, profile picture, and email address.

If you are not sure whether you want to delete your Facebook account permanently, you can choose to deactivate it instead. Deactivating your account will make it temporarily unavailable, but you can reactivate it at any time by logging in with your email address and password.

To deactivate your account, you can follow the same steps as above, but instead of choosing the “Permanently Delete Account” option, you should select the “Deactivate Account” option.
